Description: This scholarship is available to all high school, undergraduate and graduate student. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. To apply, it is first required to complete an application form and write a 140-character message about what they'd rather do than spend time with technology. The top 10 applications are selected as finalists and will then be asked to write an essay (500-1,000 words) about technology addiction.

Eligibility Requirements:
Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports, and
Be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable:
For study in the U.S., this means that the applicant meets one of these criteria:
Has a valid visa that permits study in the U.S.
Is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
Is a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)
For study in Canada, this means the applicant meets one of these criteria:
Is a Canadian permanent resident
Has a valid Canadian study permit

Description: Open to: A first-generation immigrant student who is currently undocumented with or without DACA or TPS and came to the United States before November 1, 2020; Entered the United States before the age of 16 and have continuously lived in the United States since then; Have significant unmet financial need; (If you are receiving or eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, you are not eligible for our scholarship.) Live in and have graduated or will graduate from a high school in a targeted locked-out state by the end of the 2025-2026 academic year; Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and have a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or better (if you have earned college credits after high school); Intend to relocate and live on campus and enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an Opportunity Partner College in the Fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Description: All applicants for the Fisher Investments “Invest in Your Future” College Scholarship Program must meet these minimum eligibility requirements upon submission of their application:
This award is open to students of all majors.
Must be enrolled in a college or university located within the United States or its territories and accredited by the U.S. Department of Education (for a list of accredited institutions, see http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx) at the time of application and at the time the Scholarship is awarded.
Must be at least 17 years old at the time of application.
Must be a United States citizen or non-U.S. citizen eligible for federal student aid.
Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Applicants must be enrolled in an American or Canadian post-secondary educational institution, or planning to enroll in such an institution within the following calendar year.
The subject of the essay must fall within the parameters described above.
The essay must be written in English or French, and have a length of no more than 500 words (not including title, applicant name, etc).
The scholarship funds must be used for some education-related expense, such as tuition, books, school fees, room and board, etc.
The winner of the scholarship grants EnergyRates.Ca non-exclusive publication rights to their essay, so that we can feature their winning essay on our scholarship site.
EnergyRates.Ca reserves the right to select a panel of judges and scoring methodology at its own discretion.

Description: A valid submission will contain the following information:
A biographical essay of approximately 500 – 1000 words in length, based primarily on an interview you conduct with a woman currently working in or retired from a mathematical career;
A short (approximately 100 words) biographical sketch of the student contestant. This biographical sketch can be written in the first person, and it should include the student’s name, grade level, school, and mathematical interests;

Description:
Applicants must have past or present participation in a junior lifeguard program or past or present employment as an open water lifeguard (river, lake, ocean). Pool lifeguarding and/or certification are not considered.
In order to apply, candidates need to attend a four-year post-secondary school during the 2026/2027 academic year as a full-time undergraduate student pursuing their first undergraduate degree. This scholarship will not be awarded to students attending community college or trade schools, or for graduate education. Students will be required to submit proof of admission, and registration or a course schedule that shows adequate units enrolled prior to disbursement of funds.
Applicants must be a current high school senior or undergraduate student. Students continuing or applying to graduate schools will not be considered.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, independence, academic rigor and promise, athleticism, and service to the community.
High School students must have a minimum unweighted 3.2 GPA, and undergraduate students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be taking a full-time academic course load. Transcripts will be required for all scholarship finalists. Please report accurately on your application.

Description: The SME Education Foundation offers 60+ scholarships and awards nearly $1 million each year. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Awards range from $2,500 – $20,000.
The Foundation provides merit and need-based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities.
Scholarship applications are accepted annually from November 1 – February 1. Applying for an SME Education Foundation scholarship is straightforward and easy.

Description: Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements in order to be eligible for a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship.

Plan to attend an accredited, not-for-profit university in the State of Texas

Description: FEA invests in deserving U.S. undergraduates with financial need. More than 100 volunteer reviewers read applications each cycle.
To be eligible for an FEA scholarship, you must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
Be enrolled as an undergraduate at a U.S. institution of higher education at the time of application (graduate students are not eligible)
Receive credit at your home institution for the program or experience abroad
Be studying abroad for at least 14 days
Have not previously studied abroad for any length of time after your high school graduation
Have demonstrated financial need
